Freedom for All 

Hello! My name is Kyra and I am a Seattle native. Last year I had my eyes opened to the multitude of issues both captive and wild animals have to face. Since then, I have dedicated most of my free time to researching these complex problems and doing whatever I can to bring them to light, including writing articles, attending protests, giving classroom presentations, and hosting events at my college. This past Summer I had the incredible opportunity of interning at a chimpanzee sanctuary and will be leaving soon for a two month internship at a wildlife park in Florida. In the coming years I hope to continue to visit various animal sanctuaries and share my experiences with all of you!
